May 3, 2025 - ROME, Ga. - The Spartanburgers (15-10) wrapped up Friday's suspended game with five shutout innings against the Rome Emperors (13-12) to claim a 5-1 win. However, weather once again cut the action short at Advent Health Stadium, as a scheduled seven-inning game, Saturday's original contest, was shelved due to rain. Spartanburgers and Emperors Postponed Friday Due to Severe Weather

May 2, 2025 - ROME, Ga. - At the start of Friday's game, the skies were clear, but driving wind and thunderstorms eventually slowed the Spartanburgers (14-10) and Emperors (13-11) to a halt. There was no break in the storm (or radar) as the night went on, and the game was eventually postponed. At the stoppage, Hub City led 4-1 in the top of the fifth; when the contest resumes tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. ET, the 'Burgers will have the bases loaded and two outs. Two Straight Shutouts Send Hub City Atop SAL South Division

May 1, 2025 - ROME, Ga. - A night after blanking the Emperors, Hub City's pitching duplicated its performance. An hour rain delay did not seem to impact the Spartanburgers' arms. Hub City (14-10) struck out 10 Rome (13-11) batters on its way to a second straight 1-0 victory. Kolton Curtis got the Spartanburgers started on the mound.
